OUR GUIDE

Donna Lee Lamothe believes wholeness emerges from a life-long, holistic, joyous and resilient hope and faith in Jesus Christ.

She left her home in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland, to become a member of the first class of women to attend a Canadian military college, graduating with a Bachelor of Administration, and serving in the Canadian Armed Forces for more than a decade.

She began vocational ministry with an international evangelistic organization and subsequently founded a ministry to pastors’ wives; planted Sequoia Community Church in Ottawa, Canada, with her husband, Rick, where she was ordained; and developed the discipleship journey of inSPIRE.

She has created video and print curriculum for the inSPIRE journey, written and overseen writing and publication of Bible Studies,  contributed to Every Woman’s Bible, facilitated and spoken at events across the country. Donna Lee has chaired a national foundation board, an inner-city ministry, as well as served on the board of an international aid ministry. She is once again planting a church with her husband, as teaching pastor, in their new neighbourhood, in Canmore, Alberta.

Her broad leadership experience is informed by the completion of a professional accounting designation (CPA-CMA); Master of Arts in Human Services from Liberty University; and a Master of Divinity from Truett Seminary.

Donna Lee loves to spend her free moments outside in creation, hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing with her husband (who rescued her when she went through the ice on a frozen lake), in the Rocky Mountains she calls home. Her heart runs wild in the world as her adult son and daughter embark on their own journeys of exploration, in the US and Canada.

inSPIRE Ministries is governed by a Board of Directors. These committed faith leaders give oversight and encouragement to our ministry leader, guide our mission, and ensure accountability for legal and financial matters.
